Involvement of people with disabilities: the key to adequate, person-centred services?
 
The fourth meeting of ESN's disability working group took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 5 April 2016. Together with service users from Bulgaria and the UK, ESN members discussed ways to involve service users in the design, implementation and evaluation of services.

On 13 April 2016, ESN participated in the final conference of the IMPact project in Brussels. Funded by the European Commission's 2007-2013 PROGRESS programme, IMPact has produced a guide for public authorities willing to develop new or evaluate existing personal household services and policies.

Digital economy represents an area of strategic economic importance for EU Member States so that they can be competitive worldwide and contribute to the creation of the so called knowledge-based society. On 21 April, civil society organisations were called to debate the opportunities and obstacles of the digital market in order to foster e-inclusion and e-skills.
