Dear visitors,

On this website we would like to give you information about the EU-project "Promoting social inclusion for unaccompanied young asylum seekers and refugees - a duty of justice and care".

The project was led by the European Social Network and involved 12 partners from 7 European countries.

The project ran from November '03 to October '05 and received funding under the Transnational Action Programme within the Community Action Programme to Combat Social Exclusion 2002-2006.

The project addressed the welfare and legal responsibilities of local authorities towards unaccompanied young asylum seekers and refugees and its objectives therefore expressed the needs of local authority social services.

We hope you find the information useful and welcome your comments and contributions to this project.

Should you wish any further information about the project, please get in touch with us.
