Participate in AFE INNOVNET's webinar

The AFE-INNOVNET thematic network is organising a webinar on 22 September at 11:00 CET to give the floor to various speakers of the industrial sector who are working on age-friendly solutions to share their experiences, describe the barriers they encounter and highlight notable results.

Demographic change poses new challenges to services for older people, but also creates significant economic opportunities. Older people are potential consumers and an asset in our communities and for our socio-economic development. Meeting their needs and expectations can lead to more jobs and economic growth, as the silver economy is a cross-section market that affects different sectors, including health, mobility, ICT, nutrition and housing.
Speakers:

  • Sophie Schmitt – Co-founder of Seniosphere
  • Karina Marcus – Director of the Ambient Assisted Living Joint Programme
  • Bart Schelfhout – a Senior Manager European Affairs at Philips
  • Wolfgang Kramp – European Trainer Technologies & Regulatory Affairs at 3M
