In the southern Netherlands, a project called Talent2Work is being carried out in the Langstraat neighbourhood. The initiative, which got its start in Heusden in 2012, has been a success. Potential employees and those outside the labour market are given the chance to interact in person rather than online. The Municipality of Heusden, social service providers, and regional business owners organised the effort. It strives to match job seekers with openings in the neighbourhood social care industry.

The programme aims to assist firms in filling open positions and help those who have problems accessing the labour market obtain employment. This is accomplished by organising in-person meetings between job seekers and potential employers.
