How was it in 2008?
"The Project Forum was
browsed by most delegates over the 2.5 days, and a steady
stream of delegates stopped for information or conversation.
I felt that it was a useful opportunity for a professional
organisation in the social care sector to promote its
activities, with a guaranteed audience of decision-makers.
I found it to
be useful to meet others from around Europe, all facing
similar challenges and problems. The conference was
very well attended, with some high-powered participants
and a very good spread across european countries and
disciplines within social care. These were generally
active decision makers from all aspects of social care.
They make interesting conversation, and help to put
our work into perspective and context."
Kevin Pudney, Social Care Institute
for Excellence, UK
"I can confirm that I found the Forum worthwhile
and could recommend it to small organisations with something
to promote. I was at the conference as a delegate but
took a place in the Project Forum to promote a piece
of work we have done on independent living. I was able
to show a short film and discuss the merits with a wide
range of participants from Iceland to Cyprus..."
Andrew Lowe, Director of Social
Work, Scottish Borders Council, UK
"Networking was absolutely
fantastic. We’ve met colleagues from Sweden and France
who we are going to keep in contact with because we’re
going through the similar process in different parts
of the organization in relation to personal budgets
for people."
Jill Guild, Lincolnshire County
Council, UK
Exhibiting at the Conference
If you are not a local
public service or NGO, or if you would like a larger
exhibition space than that offered by the Project Forum,
we invite you to present your organisation, products
or services in our Conference Exhibition.
This increases your profile at the conference and enhances
your opportunity to network over 3 days with those directly
involved in the planning and delivery of social and
health care, nationally and locally, throughout Europe.
The exhibition area is within
the central conference area where delegates meet
for coffee breaks and lunch. It provides a spacious
and relaxed environment in which to establish relationships
with key service providers.
The premium exhibitor package includes:
-
4m x 2m exhibitor space with electric power supply,
table and 2 chairs
-
Two full delegate places, including Official Reception
and Gala Dinner
-
A description of your organisation in the delegate
pack
-
Description and hotlink to your website on our
conference website
The package costs €2,500 (£2,000) - or €2,100
(£1,750) for ESN member organisations.
