Social Work Scotland, based in Edinburgh, is the professional body for social work and social care leaders in Scotland. It provides an infrastructure through which the expertise of senior and operational managers can inform national debates about children and families, criminal justice, adult social care and public service reform. Social Work Scotland works to ensure that the unique role and contribution of social work is widely understood and reflected in policy and legislation.
