In collaboration with actors across academia, civil society, business, and the public sector, Gothenburg Region's Municipal Association's 'AllAgeHub' develops a user-driven testbed, in order to stimulate the use of welfare technology that meets the users' real needs. AllAgeHub is an initiative of the thirteen GR municipalities Ale, Alingsås, Gothenburg, Härryda, Kungälv, Kungsbacka, Lerum, Lilla Edet, Mölndal, Partille, Stenungsund, Tjörn and Öckerö with the Gothenburg region's municipal association, GR, as project owners.

The objectives of the project are:

  • Promote the implementation of assistive and welfare technologies that meet the actual needs of end users by involving them in the development phase of said products.
  • Establish a collaborative platform for research, development and innovation that promotes accessible living environments and welfare technology services so that people, regardless of functional variation and age, can live independent and secure lives.
