ADASS is the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services in England. The leading, independent voice of adult social care, it promotes higher standards of social care services to influence policies and decision makers to transform the lives of people needing and providing care. The membership is drawn from serving directors of adult social care employed by local authorities and their direct report. Associate members are past directors and its wider membership includes deputy, assistant directors and principal social workers.
