In Hannover, where there are 555,000 people, 140,000 are over 60, or 25% of the total population. Technology and digitalisation have permeated many aspects of daily life in the city, leaving many older people behind and rendering them digitally illiterate. This technique thus addresses a growing digital divide between older and younger generations.
This project intends to encourage independence and effective ageing in the digital world for older people. It also aspires to facilitate older people's engagement in society through innovative digital services.
