The city of Esch-Sur Alzette provides an extensive range of social services to its 36.000 inhabitants. By cooperating with numerous local associations, it grants access to social housing, leisure activities for youth and elderly, health services, support for vulnerable groups and people with special needs. Additionally, a social observatory based on 51 indicators is released every two years to strategically approach the decision-making within social policies.
