Gerard Torrell Cascalló is a psychologist, master in psychological evaluation and treatment techniques, gender based violence and family violence care, intervention in crisis and emergency situations, trauma treatment and play therapy. He was trained as an intern resident psychologist at the Charité Hospital in Berlin (Germany), as well as in different mental health services in Barcelona (Spain).  He worked in specialized social services in Barcelona, ​​such as a care service for women and their children who are victims of gender based violence and worked in services of child protection. He worked as an international consultant in prevention and treatment of child abuse at the Hanoi Pediatric Hospital (Vietnam). He is currently part of the therapeutic service for children and adolescents at risk of abuse and their families in Barcelona (Spain).
