Krista Lyyra works as a Senior Specialist in the Preparedness Unit of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health of Finland. She is a qualified social worker by training and has specialized in social welfare preparedness and contingency planning. 

Her areas of expertise include emergency preparedness planning as well as the development and coordination of psychosocial support in various crises and emergency situations.
