Styliani has a Bachelor in Social Work, a MSc in Social Psychology, and a PhD in Sociology. Her academic field of studies is Queer Theory, Sexuality and Gender.

She is currently the Head of the Social Services Department of the City of Athens and has 24 years of experience in the field as a social worker.

Styliani was appointed Adjunct Lecturer at the University of West Attica’s Department of Social Work for 5 academic years.

She is also a scientific partner of the organization “Orlando lgbtqi+ for Mental Health” and a member of the Advisory Committee for Legal Gender Recognition for Minors.
