Susana Ortiz is a social worker with a degree in Social Anthropology. She has been working for Madrid City Council for 20 years. 

She started her career as a frontline social worker, supporting people who came to Social Services with a range of social needs, before later taking the opportunity to manage a Social Services Centre. For the past four years, she been leading a department whose mission is to prevent situations of social and housing exclusion.
