Taking inspiration from the ‘getting it Right for Every Child’ model in Scotland, this project adopted a child-focused approach to understanding the well-being and needs of a child in their current situation. Services are encouraged to work with young people, children, and parents to meet their needs and improve their well-being. A structure for improved coordination across services is implemented to outline the directions and decisions needed to create a more integrated approach for children.

The aim of this project is to improve services through increased communication between them. This communication ensures that care provided is child-centred focusing on the individual child’s needs rather than the interests of the service.
