The Regional Government of Basque Country, based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, is the collegiate body that heads the political, executive and administrative powers of the region of Basque Country, Spain. The Department of Equality, Justice and Social Policies is responsible for the planning of social policies related to children, youth, adults, families and older people, with particular emphasis on population groups who are in difficulties (disability, dependency needs, poverty).
