The Bogan Group of Social Cooperatives (Agintzari) is among the main social service providers in the regions of Basque Country and Navarre, Spain. It currently includes 5 non-profit cooperatives based in these regions and it has participated in multiple European projects. Public authorities rely on this group of cooperatives for the provision of public social services in areas such as socio-educational and psycho-social intervention with children and families, both community and specialised; comprehensive services in the field of gender violence; comprehensive intervention with adolescents and youth, in particular unaccompanied migrants; specialised work with highly unprotected children, including community and specialised foster care or adoption support; and preventive work on unwanted loneliness and community connection of socially fragile people, among others.
