The Care Inspectorate is an agency based in Dundee, Scotland. Its primary focus is inspecting around 14,000 registered care services in Scotland by visiting and talking to staff, managers and people using the service. This means the Care Inspectorate looks at the quality of care in Scotland to ensure it meets high standards. Its 600 staff members work across Scotland, specialising in health and social care, early learning and childcare, social work, children’s services, and community justice.
