The Attica Region Social Welfare Centre (KKPPA) is an umbrella institutional body under the control and supervision of the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family. Its role is twofold, as it operates as a hospital providing the complete range of healthcare services to specific groups of patients, as well as an organisation active in awareness-raising and education in foster care, adoption and child protection.
