The University of Gothenburg is a public university based in Gothenburg, Sweden, with more than 50,000 students. Within the university, the Centre for Person-centred Care (GPCC) is a leading research centre focused on promoting integrated and person-centred approaches across healthcare and social welfare systems. It does so by generating evidence, identifying best practices, and supporting policy development and implementation. The GPCC has been actively involved in several European projects and has a history of contributing to policy at the EU level. The GPCC has scored highly in several evaluations by the Swedish Research Council and is the largest centre in Sweden in its field.
