A recent EuroHealthNet workshop looked at effective ways to advocate for health equity, shedding light on both social and economic arguments for the promotion of health and wellbeing.

ESN took part in the 4th Congress of the Spanish Network of Social Policy and presented the case for a person-centred community approach in mental health.

The European Social Network is one of the stakeholders participating in the Stakeholder Advisory Board of ROAMER, a three-year project funded by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme to create a coordinated roadmap for the promotion and integration of mental health and wellbeing research across Europe.

ESN participated at the launch of Apemfenix, the first association for people with mental health problems in the Spanish region of Castile La Mancha, member of ESN.

Being labelled by society and even by those in the caring services may be unintentional, it may come from fear or ignorance, but it will always be damaging, and should be tackled. But what is the best way forward?
