Through three interrelated types of housing, Dolmen, an NGO and social services provider, assists the transition of persons with learning impairments from institutional residences to community-based housing. The interconnected services assist independent living while simultaneously focusing on presenting additional opportunities, such as employment. There are 21 of these one or two-person apartments spread across Sokolov.

1. Housing with shelter

With the help of this programme, people with learning difficulties can live independently in flats that Dolmen rents out. For those living in sheltered accommodation, services are offered that include help with meals and other household tasks, educational and motivating activities, connecting with resources and people, asserting rights, promoting interests, and taking care of personal problems.

2. Housing with support

This service is primarily intended for learning disabled individuals who are more independent and able to live alone. The help offered is often less regular and less intensive, but they have access to the same resources as those for sheltered housing. One of the personal objectives of sheltered housing programme users is typically the transition to this kind of accommodation.

3. Safe-work environments

Through sheltered employment at the restaurant "Oasis," the service helps service users develop and enhance their work abilities. They get paid for their labour, and it gives kids the chance to practise working in a safe setting. The service is available to anybody and accepts service users from both sheltered and supported housing.

Overall, The goal is for service users to live with a quality of life equivalent to their peers who do not utilise social services.
