The Employment Department of the municipality of Aarhus, in collaboration with the social services department, as well as several public and private stakeholders and companies, offers the 'Job path.' Courses are available through social services for people with disabilities who want to work in the regular labour market. Language and communication, presentation and presence, hygiene, behaviour and body language, meeting stability, order, and rules, and understanding the labour market are all covered in these courses.

The goal of 'Job path' is to transition from sheltered employment to creating jobs in the regular labour market for people with disabilities, as well as to support people in succeeding in their jobs.

'Job path' was created with the goal of shifting from providing sheltered employment to supporting people's integration into the regular labour market and, as a result, their autonomy. The desire to assist citizens in being active and participating in the community has been the driving force. The ultimate goal is to place people in the regular labour market on the same terms as any other worker, allowing them to support themselves as much as possible.
