The Neighbourhood statistics on living conditions and opportunity structures (ECVEO in spanish) is a pioneering data system developed by the Barcelona County Council and the Metròpoli Institute to analyse living conditions and opportunity structures across neighbourhoods in the province of Barcelona. It provides a multidimensional statistical framework based on more than 250 indicators across 9 thematic areas, enabling targeted public policies and social transformation. The ECVEO aims to support inclusive urban planning and reduce territorial inequalities through evidence-based decision-making.
