The ‘Neighbourhoods with Future" project focuses on several key social issues in areas where there is a high number of residents at risk of social exclusion. These neighbourhoods often face problems like poverty, poor access to education and healthcare, and lack of social services, which lead to ongoing cycle of disadvantage.

The project aims to empower these communities, as local authorities haven't always been experienced in community development. This empowerment is essential for helping residents improve their living conditions. It also addresses urban challenges like inadequate infrastructure and poor living conditions which can harm the sense of community and the well being of residents.

Another focus is on supporting vulnerable families and children who often lack sufficient support systems, leading to continuous cycles of poverty and exclusion. The project also emphasises creating governance structures that include various stakeholders to better allocate resources and address community needs.
