In its sixth edition, the 2024 European Social Services Awards celebrated the people and organisations shaping more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities. Under this year’s theme, Promoting Inclusive Communities, the Awards recognised innovative approaches that actively engage vulnerable populations in designing, delivering, and planning social services. By fostering collaboration and participation, these initiatives empower communities and strengthen social cohesion.
ESSA 2024 honoured over 250 finalists from across Europe and beyond, bringing together more than 650 participants to share best practices and inspire meaningful change. This year’s edition further reinforces the Awards' commitment to celebrating impactful approaches that ensure social services are co-created with and for the communities they serve, ultimately fostering inclusive, resilient, and sustainable environments.
