Anja has 15 years of dedicated experience in the field of social protection, including 7 years of proven leadership. Her career spans engagements at both state and local levels within the social protection sector.

Prior to joining ESN, Anja served at the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs, and Equal Opportunities, of Slovenia and Centre for Social Work.

Anja holds a master’s degree in law from the Law Faculty of Ljubljana. In addition, she has successfully completed an International Master in European Studies programme, organized by the European Desk of the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Anja enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing.
