Farid Mammadov, a Chairman of the Board of the Agency for Sustainable and Operative Social Provision (DOST Agency) under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Azerbaijan, has about 28 years of experience in program, project and process management. He has a Professional MBA in Project and Process Management from the Executive Academy of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria.
In his career, Farid has been involved in policy development in the social and economic sector comprising field research, resource management plans and programs, integrated management, training programs, capacity building, etc. Part of this extensive experience is on international funding projects, Azerbaijani and regional economic and social policies, strategies and concepts. Farid has long-term working experience with global consultancy groups (such as Arcadis Group and Mott Macdonald) as a local consultant and country director to support international projects in regional social and economic development, infrastructure, civil society and communal infrastructure, as well as cooperation with international financing organizations. His expertise is utilized in important local and international projects.
Farid has been engaged in the day-to-day leadership of a one-stop-shop concept for social protection, labor and employment in Azerbaijan. He is a leader of a rapidly accelerating DOST Agency and is a proven professional in building effective and dynamic processes and organization. He also leads a team of professionals providing technical assistance in social services reformation process in Moldova and Uzbekistan.
Farid is representing the DOST Agency in the ESN Council since March 2021.
