Inês Nunes de Freitas joined the European Social Network in July 2024 as the Membership and Project Officer. With a background in human rights, legal research, and project management, she earned her Master in Criminal Law, from the Catholic University of Portugal as well as a certification in project management from College of Europe and on Data Protection Officer from Maastricht University. 

Before joining ESN, Inês worked with Victim Support Europe in Brussels, where she managed several projects and she led the in-house victim care team. Prior to that, she managed a victim support office in Portugal, providing direct assistance to victims of crime and handling day-to-day operations. Her experience also extends to legal consulting, legal researching and project management at the National Confederation of Social Solidarity Institutions and in other Portuguese NGOs.
