Lili Magyar completed her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Politics at the University of Edinburgh before moving on to a master’s degree in political science at the University of Amsterdam, where she specialised in comparative politics.

Passionate about social inclusion, democracy, and creating meaningful social change, Lili has dedicated much of her academic and professional experience to exploring how public policy can better respond to inequality and social challenges. Prior to joining the European Social Network, she worked at Republikon Institute in Hungary, contributing to policy and research projects focused on social and political issues, further strengthening her interest in inclusive policymaking and European cooperation.

Lili is excited to join ESN’s policy team and contribute to work that supports stronger, more inclusive social services across Europe.

In her free time, Lili enjoys spending time outdoors, whether playing football, running, or hiking, and loves exploring new restaurants and cafes around town!
