As part of the Project Management team, Vesa oversees the implementation of EU-funded projects that support the development of social services across different fields, including long-term care, community care, social services funding, and workforce development. She is responsible for project coordination, engaging with partners and members, and ensuring the timely delivery of outputs. Her role also involves supporting ESN’s flagship events, the European Social Services Conference (ESSC) and the European Social Services Awards (ESSA).

She brings extensive experience in managing EU-funded projects, having previously worked with NGOs focused on the social economy, equal opportunities, and human rights. In these roles, she successfully led initiatives under Erasmus+, CERV, and AMIF, particularly in the areas of migration, gender equality, and digital inclusion. 

Vesa enjoys working with a diverse group of people in a multicultural environment. She holds a master’s degree in New Media and Society in the EU from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
