Ríoghnach is a graduate in Theoretical Physics from Trinity College, University of Dublin. During her time at university, she worked in voluntary capacity with various organisations organising different events and campaigns. Her role at ESN focuses on the organisation of the annual European Social Services Conference.

Outside of ESN, Ríoghnach enjoys playing Gaelic Football and Camogie.
