Social services quality refers to the standards and effectiveness of the services managed by public administrations in meeting the needs and improving the wellbeing of individuals and communities. Social services quality is a crucial aspect of social welfare and significantly enhances the lives of those who rely on these services for support. As the understanding of quality, the way social services are managed and the mechanisms of quality assurance have evolved. ESN has established a Working Group to review the European quality framework for social services and present recommendations for measurable quality standards in social services across the EU.
